I'm a MindCORE-sponsored postdoctoral scholar working with Erol Akçay (Biology) and Gareth Roberts (Linguistics) in the SCEW group at the University of Pennsylvania. From Fall 2018 to Fall 2019, I was Assistant Professor at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey. I completed my PhD at Duke University in Fall 2018.

Before that, I did my M.A. in philosophy at the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin. During that time, I also worked at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science

I work primarily on the evolution of social behaviors, such as language, cooperation, and social aspects of science. As such, my work spans questions in philosophy of science, philosophy of language, and social epistemology.
